As the curtains close on our unforgettable 2024–2025 season, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this year so special—from the artists who lit up our stage to every guest who filled the room with energy, love, and deep appreciation for live music.
This season was one for the books. We welcomed a dynamic blend of fresh faces and returning legends to 1447 N. Summit St., right at the corner of Summit & Bush. From soul-stirring blues to high-energy bebop, each night brought something new and every show reminded us why live music matters.
Highlights from the Year included:
- A sold-out evening with the sensational Larry Fuller Trio, whose brilliance at the keys had the room buzzing.
- The incomparable Jean Holden, a Lucille’s favorite who never, ever disappoints.
- The versatile and captivating Ben Maloney Trio, delivering sleek, modern interpretations rooted in jazz tradition.
- A powerful night of blues with Bobby G, channeling the soul of the genre with every note.
- A stunning, sold-out performance by young stars from the Toledo School for the Arts, proving the next generation of jazz and blues is in good hands.
- The rhythmically explosive Cedric Easton, whose drums led us through unforgettable musical journeys.
- From quiet solos that brought us to tears to late-night jams that turned into community celebrations, this season has been a testament to what we can build together.
We also heard you. Whether it was about new genres or clearer access details, we’ve been making note of everything. Our goal remains the same: to be a welcoming, inspiring, and open-to-the-public space for music lovers right here inside TolHouse.
As we take a short summer break to regroup and recharge, know this: the 2025–2026 season begins this fall, and it’s already shaping up to be something special. Expect more world-class talent, more genre-blending nights, and even more opportunities to experience jazz and blues in bold, refreshing ways.
To all of you who came out, whether once or every month, thank you. You keep the music alive.
With gratitude,
The Lucille’s Team
