Toledo is Jazz Music.
From my early twenties, I was a regular at Rusty’s Jazz Cafe on Tedrow here in Toledo. The feeling I got going into that club with the live performances from cats like Leon Cook, Gene Parker, Ramona Collins and more – combined with the smoke filled air, the casual ambiance, and the intimacy of the space is one that is hard to forget. It was the perfect home for falling in love with this music. With Lucille’s, I wanted to give that opportunity to newer audiences. We’re creating a space where the sound not only resonates, but also the food and cocktails are second to none and prepared with care. Lucille’s is a lounge where where the musicians are valued and the audiences leave wowed.

Since January 2024, every week at Lucille’s Lounge has been ignited by the vibrant sounds and musical mastery of SESSIONS—a live performance series hosted by the extraordinary Gene Parker and Damen Cook. From soaring solos to spontaneous collaborations, these evenings have been a celebration of jazz in its purest, most organic form.
As the curtains close on our unforgettable 2024–2025 season, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this year so special—from the artists who lit up our stage to every guest who filled the room with energy, love, and deep appreciation for live music.
